Chocolate Deviled Eggs

Ingredients

• 6 hard-­boiled eggs
• 3 tbsp cream cheese
• 3 tsp dark cocoa powder unsweetened
• 1.5 tbsp Confectioners Sugar
• 1.5 tbsp heavy cream
• 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
• pinch salt
• sea salt, chocolate shavings, or sprinkles optional

Steps

1. Cook, cool, peel and halve eggs.

2. Remove yolks and mash in a bowl.

3. Mix together egg yolks, cream cheese, cream and vanilla until thoroughly mixed.

4. Add the cocoa, sugar and salt. Continue to mix until well incorporated and smooth. (A food processor or mixer makes this easier.)

5. Fill the whites with the egg yolk mixture.

6. Garnish with a pinch of sea salt, chocolate shavings, or sprinkles.
