Green Sauce Adapted from https://thefeedfeed.com/sarchakra/cilantro-chutney-with-ginger Cilantro Chutney with Ginger Servings: 5 INGREDIENTS 3 cups washed and chopped cilantro 1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and chopped 1 tablespoon grated ginger 4 garlic cloves garlic, smashed and cut into pieces 2 teaspoons cumin seeds sea salt 2 teaspoons sugar 1/4 apple, cut into slices 1/2 lemon, juiced STEPS 1) In a blender add chopped coriander leaves, jalapeño, garlic, and mix. Add in grated ginger, sea salt, water, apple, sugar, lemon juice and blitz. Add apple slices and blend to a smooth paste. 2) Notes If using the chutney fresh, keep it in the fridge. It will stay good for up to 5 days. If storing for later, pour in ice trays and freeze. Once frozen take the cubes out and store in a ziplock bag. This way it lasts for months. Whenever you need it, pop however many cubes you need and it will defrost within minutes. If you are in a rush, pop them in a ziplock and soak in hot water for 5 mins and they will be ready for use. It can’t get any more convenient than that, right?
