Korean Beef Bowl Adapted from https://damndelicious.net/2013/07/07/korean-beef-bowl/ Servings: 4 INGREDIENTS 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup Hoisin sauce 2 teaspoons sesame oil 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce 1 teaspoon freshly ground ginger 1 tablespoon vegetable oil 2 cloves garlic, minced 1 pound ground beef 8 oz fresh green beans 2 green onions, thinly sliced and green/white separated Sesame seeds Chow mein noodles STEPS 1) In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, and ginger. 2) Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until nearly browned, about 3-4 minutes, 3) Add vegetables and continue to cook until the beef is cooked; drain excess fat. 4) Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onion whites until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes. 5) Serve over rice, garnished with green onion greens, sesame seeds, and chown mein noodles, if desired.
