Korean Beef Bowl

Ingredients
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Hoisin sauce
- 2 teaspoons sesame oil
- 1 teaspoon sriracha sauce
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground ginger
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 pound ground beef
- 8 oz fresh green beans
- 2 green onions, thinly sliced and green/white separated
- Sesame seeds
- Chow mein noodles
Steps
In a small bowl, whisk together brown sugar, soy sauce, Hoisin sauce, sesame oil, sriracha sauce, and ginger.
Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium high heat. Add garlic and cook, stirring constantly, until fragrant, about 1 minute. Add ground beef and cook until nearly browned, about 3-4 minutes,
Add vegetables and continue to cook until the beef is cooked; drain excess fat.
Stir in soy sauce mixture and green onion whites until well combined, allowing to simmer until heated through, about 2 minutes.
Serve over rice, garnished with green onion greens, sesame seeds, and chown mein noodles, if desired.
