Oven-Baked BBQ Ribs

  1. Preheat oven to 300°F (150°C).

  2. Remove the silver skin/membrane from the back of the ribs (optional, but helps tenderness).

  3. Rub the ribs evenly with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, garlic powder, and onion powder.

  4. Place ribs on a large sheet of aluminum foil, meat side up.

  5. Wrap tightly to form a sealed packet.

  6. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 2–2.5 hours until the meat is tender and pulls slightly from the bone.

  7. Carefully unwrap the ribs and brush a generous layer of BBQ sauce over the meat.

  8. Preheat your oven’s broiler or set to 425°F (220°C).

  9. Broil or bake for 5–10 minutes, watching closely, until the sauce caramelizes and is sticky.

  10. Let ribs rest for 5 minutes before slicing between bones.

  11. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side, coleslaw, or your favorite sides.
